With this InCorp review, I have saved you time and effort by conducting extensive research to provide valuable, up-to-date information about InCorp.
InCorp Pros
- Low-cost registered agent service—InCorp Services Inc. provides RA services in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia (DC), US Virgin Islands (USVI), and Puerto Rico (PR) at the market’s lowest price, especially if you take a long-term subscription.

InCorp Cons
- InCorp’s signature product is their national registered agent services. They do offer LLC formation, but that feature remains unoptimized compared with the more developed and comprehensive LLC packages available from other formation providers in the industry.
Who Should Use InCorp?
InCorp is for the respective owners of small businesses and Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) who are not comfortable acting as their own registered agents. Their low prices, volume discounts, and proven track record are all compelling reasons for any organization to use InCorp as their company's registered agent.
Who Should NOT Use InCorp?
If you are on a tight budget and have limited resources, you should consider other affordable providers who specialize in LLC formation and offer budget-friendly packages for small start-ups and novice entrepreneurs, such as Incfile's $0 package.
All Things Considered . . .
Do you need a registered agent service that offers long-term subscription discounts or provides professional service in US territories, such as Puerto Rico, District of Columbia, and the US Virgin Islands? These options combined with InCorp’s low price and useful features, such as Entity Watch, make them a good service and a practical choice for entrepreneurs who enjoy financial and identity security.

Registered Agent Services
A registered agent is an individual or firm that receives important legal documents on behalf of a business entity, such as Service of Process, notices, letters of demand, and regular mail. Registered agents serve an essential purpose by providing your business with an address. This service helps prevent corporate identity theft and keeps your personal information safe.
InCorp offers national registered agent service in all 50 US States, as well as DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands as their primary service. They offer discounts if you add registered agent service for multiple years (from 2–5 years), making theirs the lowest price available for a registered agent service.
LLC Formation Services
Apart from their primary function as a registered agent service, InCorp also provides an LLC formation service, among its other industry services. They may not be the best service for LLC service, but you can file your formation documents for your LLC online using their order system or you can hire InCorp to do all the work. You can also run a name availability search with InCorp to find a unique name for your organization.
Employer Identification Number
An EIN is necessary for many businesses, particularly if you plan to hire employees. InCorp can help you apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) for your LLC. You can obtain an EIN yourself by submitting an online IRS form on the official website of the Internal Revenue Service.
Entity Management
InCorp also provides an Entity Management System iOS app, which allows you to track compliance events, save and view corporate documents, track forwarded mail, handle junk mail, and make payments. This management system makes it easy to track your compliance status, monitor your annual report’s due date, keep a calendar of important compliance deadlines, and store your corporate documents, among other things.
Doing Business As (DBA)
If you want to register your DBA, InCorp can assist you with registering your DBA in any state.
Business Licensing
InCorp partners with LicenseLogix to get your licenses and legal permits. For entities in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, LicenseLogix serves as a licensing and permit department. They assist all types of corporations with researching, obtaining, and maintaining licenses.
Corporate Record Kits/Corporate Seals/Stock Certificates
The company offers various corporate kits such as Attache Legal Kit, Prestige Legal Kit,
Legacy Legal Kit, MarkMaker Legal Embosser, and stock certificates according to your needs. See the costs for these further down.
Foreign Qualification
The term “foreign qualification” refers to registering your enterprise with the Secretary of State’s office in another state. It allows your brand to legally pursue growth opportunities across state lines without the need to form a new entity. It is typically the first step in expanding your brand into a new state.
InCorp assists LLC owners who want to foreign qualify their LLC. They also have a short five-question quiz to help you assess whether you need to get a foreign qualification.
Good Standing Certificate
If you are foreign-qualifying an LLC in another state, in most cases this certificate is required. InCorp can help you with this as well.
Entity Dissolution
InCorp properly and statutorily facilitates the dissolving, canceling, or withdrawal of LLCs, following state laws for companies that want to pursue this option.

My Review
Value—7/10
When it comes to registered agent service, InCorp’s price value stands out among its competitors. You can get a registered agent service for as low as $100.18 per year with five-year service (continental US and Hawaii only).
For LLC and other business entity solutions, InCorp ranks in the mid-range in terms of value. You pay a base rate of $99 plus state fee for forming an LLC, which includes the preparation and filing of Articles of Organization, name availability search, and domestic two-day shipping.
Other LLC providers, such as IncFile, provide “free” LLC formation service plus state fee, together with a year of registered agent service for FREE. So comparatively, InCorp’s packages provide less value than other providers in LLC formation and registered agent services.
Product/Service Offerings—6.5/10
InCorp provides a reasonable but limited range of business services for all 50 states in the US. They offer registered agent service for single- or multi-year plans.
In terms of business entity formation, they offer all types of business formations including LLC, DBA, Limited Partnership, etc. They charge business formation services at a base rate plus state fee, unlike other providers that offer multiple pricing packages based on services. They do not advertise any overnight or “fast shipping” service.
They do offer other items, such as company seal and legal kits, as separate products not included in the LLC package.
InCorp has introduced an Entity Watch mobile application to step up their digital game for their clients. It comes in handy for keeping track of your filing and compliance status.
Since InCorp offers only one LLC package and additional services separately, it may be a turnoff for customers who like the idea of saving money by purchasing bundled services in a package.
Other companies offer a wide range of services in their basic packages. ZenBusiness, for example, includes preferred name availability, preparation and filing of LLC documentation, CPA assessment, operating agreement template, $150 Google ads credit, registered agent services, special offers on credit cards, complete guidance through the entire setup process, online tracking services for your documents, and online access to your documents, all for only $49 plus state fee.
InCorp, however, only provides a handful of services at $99 plus state fee including a search for name availability and LLC formation. In case you want fast shipping, they charge an extra $6 for overnight delivery.
Incorp would score higher on the “Products/Offerings” scale if it reviews and upgrades its services and packages, bringing them on par with the competition.
Customer Support—8/10
Although their regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., InCorp also provides customer service for extended support hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET M–F) and Spanish-language support.
They provide a variety of contact options, including phone calls, emails, and a web-based live-chat option. They also provide phone numbers for specific departments.
InCorp has not outsourced their customer service department, but rather has an in-house customer service team who provide thorough and professional responses to all queries and complaints.
They assign you a direct line to a single customer service representative to handle all of your accounts with them. That means you don't have to phone in to a call center and speak with a random person every time you need assistance.
Ease of Use—7/10
InCorp's official website offers simple navigation and an ordinary user experience. It isn’t responsive and has an outdated design/user interface compared with other service providers, which could put off some prospective clients.
In addition, their services are described very briefly on the website. Anyone wanting detailed information about their services would have to call or send an email seeking detailed information. In this digital age, time is money—offer value and save time, and you have yourself a long-term client!
Addressing these issues would surely help improve their “Ease of Use” score!
My Overall Rating—7.1/10
InCorp is a reputable and trustworthy company. They are one of the most experienced registered agent service providers in the US, with a solid track record. If you opt for a subscription package, they give some of the best discounts around. While they do offer LLC formation, you can find better providers on the market with a variety of other related offerings.
What Others Are Saying
Don’t just take my word for it. What better way to learn about an organization than to consult customer feedback? There are dedicated review websites that have online customer feedback about InCorp services: TrustPilot, Google Business, Facebook, and Better Business Bureau.
Trust Pilot

In the positive reviews, clients have praised InCorp for its professionalism and budget-friendliness. Better Business Bureau (BBB)

Positive feedback affirmed the company's friendly customer assistance and live web-based chat feature, and many customers mentioned that they had been with the company for years with no problems. Two negative reviews mentioned the difficulty in cancelling the registered agent service. These customers claimed they were repeatedly billed after discontinuing their subscriptions.
Overall
Overall, the company has a 3.6/5 rating based on all customer feedback from the above-mentioned review sites and my analysis. I suggest doing your homework before hiring InCorp LLC to avoid any misunderstanding about how they work. It has been a reputable and trustworthy service provider in this niche for more than two decades, but you may find better options for new business incorporation.
