Boost Suite follows a defined editorial plan and a clear mission: to help thousands of entrepreneurs save millions of dollars and provide them with the best possible support in setting up their businesses. Here are some of our missions and values:

• Plain-English checklists you can use today. We translate agency rules into step-by-step instructions that match how filings actually move through a Secretary of State’s office.
• Documented facts. Fees, forms, timelines, and requirements are verified against primary sources (statutes, administrative rules, Secretary of State portals). When a rule changes, we update the page and note what changed and when. Our methods and correction process live in the Editorial Policy.
• Real-world nuance. We explain why filings get rejected (and how to avoid it), when expedite requests help, and which attachments trigger manual review.
• No pay-to-play. We don’t sell sponsored posts or paid links, and providers can’t buy rankings. We’re funded 100% by affiliate relationships in three categories we actually evaluate: incorporation services, PEOs, and registered agents. Compensation never decides coverage or recommendations. Who’s behind the work

I’m Aaron Kra, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Boost Suite. I graduated from the University of Texas School of Law (ABA-accredited) and have spent nearly a decade helping entrepreneurs with entity selection, registered-agent requirements, foreign qualifications, and multi-state compliance.

Before launching Boost Suite, I practiced at a boutique business law firm in Austin handling LLC/PLLC formations, statutory conversions and domestications, UCC-1 filings, and multi-state registrations for real-estate investors, healthcare professionals, e-commerce sellers, and service businesses. I also spent a year embedded with the compliance team of a national registered-agent provider, working with filing clerks and agency staff in 25+ states. That’s where I learned what examiners check first, how expedite queues are triaged, and which attachments cause delays. You’ll see those lessons in our checklists and FAQs across the site.

Today, I oversee legal/tax review and state-by-state updates. Every instruction is verified against controlling authority, and when needed, I confirm details directly with state offices or the IRS. I maintain our Fee Tracker and Turnaround Index and publish change notes so you can see exactly what changed and when.

I also collaborate with licensed legal and tax professionals in multiple jurisdictions (NY, TX, CA, FL, MI, TN, IL, SC, OH) to pressure-test examples involving pass-through treatment, S-corp elections, SALT, and nexus. If an issue is complex or fact-specific, we say so and we tell you when to involve your professional advisor.
