Finding the best LLC service in Arizona is crucial if you want to establish a limited liability company in the Copper State.

The right LLC service will help you establish your business by filing all the important paperwork with the Arizona Corporation Commission and make sure your business is properly registered so you can concentrate on more important tasks.

The wrong LLC service will delay your business registration process for months, preventing you from carrying out your normal business activities due to the lack of essential paperwork.

To help you find the best service at a reasonable price, I have investigated the 10 best LLC formation providers in Arizona using my four-stage, five-factor analysis. Below are the results of my findings:

1. Northwest Registered Agent: 9.45/10 (Best Overall LLC Service)

Northwest Registered Agent is the best LLC formation service in Arizona because of its affordable and highly rated customer support.

Pros

Its formation package provides all the services you’ll need to establish your Arizona LLC, including assistance with choosing your LLC name and filing your articles of organization with the Arizona Corporation Commission.

It’ll assist with drafting your operating agreement, and if you use its registered agent service (also known as a statutory agent), you’ll get a business name and address in Arizona for receiving mail and service of process (which hopefully you’ll never get), an online storage portal for your legal documents, and compliance alerts so that you don’t miss any important filing deadlines.

Other services included in this LLC formation package are a 90-day free trial of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service, a business tax consultation with Northwest’s in-house accountants, and a free year of registered agent service.

Northwest also offers a few comprehensive services that are available for purchase when needed. These include access to an employer identification number (EIN), certified copies of your formation services, and a Certificate of Good Standing.

However, Northwest’s best feature has to be its customer support department.

Most LLC service providers outsource their customer service to call centers in foreign countries that are staffed with people who do not understand the process of setting up or running a business in the US. You might get assistance with resetting your password or updates on your application status but the service is quite generic.

But things at Northwest Registered Agent are quite different. Its US-based Corporate Guides are a team of former lawyers and small business owners, with years of experience between them.

Their experience with the exact problems you are facing means they provide credible advice and assistance during your entire business journey. This type of support can cost up to $5,000 a day from third-party financial advisors, so having it included as part of your formation service is a major relief.

Northwest’s formation package has a standard price of $225 but BoostSuite readers can enjoy an 82% discount if they use my dedicated link to Northwest’s sign-up page. Northwest cut me a sweet deal due to the high visitor traffic that I bring to its website.

Cons

The only visible issue with Northwest Registered Agent is the lack of services that assist your business in growing an online presence, such as a personalized business website, an email service, or a domain name registration.

This is just a minor issue, though, because LLC owners can get these services from a number of websites, such as Wix and Squarespace, for as low as $15.

Overall

Northwest Registered agent is by far the best LLC formation service in Arizona because it offers the best customer support, coupled with affordable LLC services.

Its $39 formation package offers everything you need to establish your business in Arizona, including a free year of registered agent service. The US-based Corporate Guides are former lawyers, accountants, and business owners who are there to assist you not only during your business setup process but also during your entire business journey.

If you’re looking for an affordable LLC formation provider that will guide you during your LLC formation process, head over to Northwest Registered Agent using my dedicated link and enjoy an 82% discount.

2. ZenBusiness: 8.25/10 (Best Essentials LLC Service)

You can’t beat ZenBusiness’ incredible price of $0 plus filing fee. Unfortunately, the fact that it doesn’t provide registered agent services or small business support means that you’ll pay more for it in the long run than it’s worth.

Pros

ZenBusiness covers all the basics to establish your LLC for only $0. It will run a business name availability check, help you fill out your formation documents, and file them for you.

Its $199 Pro plan includes expedited filing (which takes 4–6 days depending on your state), and help with drafting your operating agreement.

Its $299 Premium plan includes rush filing (as little as 1–2 days), as well as a business domain name, email address, and a custom website builder.

Cons

The $0 plan will certainly cover the basics and make sure that your LLC is established legally, but if you want anything beyond the bare minimum, you’ll have to pay extra for it.

Free registered agent service isn’t available at the $0 level. In fact, the only plan that comes with registered agent service is its $199 plan.

Also, even though its customer service team is quick and helpful, it won’t wow you. They can help you out with password changes and updating your billing information with ease, but when it comes to questions and advice about HR and logistics, or tax information, you’re on your own.

Overall

If you just want a company that will cover the basic formation bases, you won’t find a better price out there than ZenBusiness’s $0.

If you want a business that will supply basic formation services at a dirt-cheap price, you can learn more about ZenBusiness at its website

3. Harbor Compliance: 7.13/10 (Best Premium LLC Service)

Harbor Compliance offers exemplary customer care support.

Pros

Harbor Compliance provides all the basics you need to establish your Arizona LLC, including filing your articles of organization with the Arizona Corporation Commission, a draft operating agreement template, access to an EIN, and a free year of registered agent service.

But its best feature is its customer support. Instead of calling a hotline or sending an anonymous email, Harbor Compliance sets you up with your own personal representative who understands your business challenges and is ready to offer credible advice and guidance during your business journey.

Cons

Harbor Compliance’s only problem is the price of its services. Its basic formation package goes for $399, while its Compliance package goes for $799. This makes Harbor Compliance significantly more expensive than Northwest Registered Agent.

Overall

Harbor Compliance is a premium LLC service provider in Arizona that provides all the services you need to set up your Arizona LLC. It provides you with a support representative dedicated to your business who will walk you through your business formation process. No other companies on this list provide this level of customer support.

The $399 basic package is significantly more expensive compared with Northwest Registered Agent, but it does provide good value for your money.

If you need a personal representative who will guide you through your Arizona LLC setup process, check out Harbor Compliance.

4. Swyft Filings

Swyft Filings is a relatively new LLC formation provider that offers decent value for your money.

Its $49 basic service includes the filing of your articles of organization with the Arizona Corporation Commission, a 30-minute tax consultation, and a free, one-year business domain name registration.

However, unlike Northwest Registered Agent, Swyft Filings doesn’t include a free year of registered agent service. For this you need to upgrade to its $149 package, which is $100 more than what Northwest Registered Agent charges.

Nonetheless, it’s a reputable company that offers reliable service, so if you’re interested, check out Swyft Filings’ website.

5. MyCompanyWorks

MyCompanyWorks charges $79 for its basic package, which offers assistance with your articles of organization and a draft operating agreement template.

MyCompanyWorkds will provide your LLC in Arizona with effective customer support. In fact, it has managed to maintain a 4.9/5 average rating out of 3,500 online reviews.

However, one major drawback with its services is that if you need a free year of registered agent service, you’ll have to purchase the $279 Premium package. When you consider that Northwest Registered Agent includes this in its $39 basic service, MyCompanyWorks isn’t such a great option.

6. Inc Authority

Inc Authority tries to pass itself off as a “budget” LLC formation service, but on closer scrutiny, it is anything but “budget.”

Inc Authority will file your articles of organization for free but any other extra service your LLC in Arizona needs will mean additional costs.

Its $399 basic package includes services such as assistance with drafting your operating agreement, an EIN, and a company seal. If your LLC in Arizona needs a free year of registered agent service, it’s only available in the $799 Premium package.

Even if you’re running out of cash and all you need is your articles of organization filed, ZenBusiness offers more value than Inc Authority.

7. Incorporate Fast

Incorporate Fast has a $99 basic package that assists you with filing your articles of organization and drafting your operating agreement. It also includes a free year of registered agent services and a couple of document templates you may need to establish your Arizona LLC.

Its $199 package will provide you with an EIN but it lacks a business tax assessment.

The one thing that sets Incorporate Fast apart from other services on this list is that it processes your documents the same day they’re received. Therefore, if you are in a rush to get your Arizona LLC started and are willing to pay extra for the privilege, visit Incorporate Fast.

8. BizFilings

BizFilings also charges $99 for its basic package, which includes assistance with your articles of organization and a free year of registered agent services.

It does not offer any additional services, such as an online document storage portal or a draft operating agreement template, so you’re paying more for less.

9. Rocket Lawyer

Rocket Lawyer is an online LLC formation service that also offers registered agent services and legal services.

For $99, it will only file your articles of organization and provide an online document storage portal. Considering that Northwest Registered Agent offers these services and more in its $39 package, Rocket Lawyer doesn’t provide good value for your money.

For a more detailed breakdown of its offerings, read my full Rocket Lawyer review.

10. LegalZoom

LegalZoom is another legal services provider that charges $99 for substandard Arizona LLC services. It only provides assistance with filing your articles of organization with the Arizona Corporation Commission and a banking resolution, and that’s it.

If you’re already using LegalZoom for its registered agent service or legal paperwork, it might be worth considering for LLC formation, but not otherwise.

Other Arizona LLC Services

I included seven more LLC formation services in my review. But their services are far too underwhelming to warrant a full review. Here they are in no particular order.

11. Incorporate.com

Incorporate.com charges $99 for its basic package that offers very few services. It only assists with filing your formation documents and gives you an account for storing your legal documents.

12. CorpNet

CorpNet charges $79 to file your formation documents. That’s all you get from them.

13. MyCorporation

MyCorporation charges $133 for assistance with filing your articles of organization and assistance with drafting your operating agreement.

14. Direct Incorporation

Direct Incorporation offers the same services as MyCorporation. The only difference is that Direct Incorporation includes a banking resolution and access to an EIN as part of its offerings but charges $147 for its services.

15. InCorp

InCorp offers a $117 basic package that includes assistance with filing your formation documents and assistance with your operating agreement. Every additional service involves an extra cost.

16. Nationwide Incorporations

Nationwide Incorporations charges $200 for the same services as InCorp.

17. SunDoc Filings

SunDoc Filings’ $79 basic package offers assistance with filing your articles of organization. Its $99 Key package will assist you with drafting your operating agreement while its $279 Premier package gives you access to an EIN.

Best LLC Service Review Methodology

This is the process I used to determine which were the best Arizona LLC formation services.

Why You Should Trust Me

You should trust me with your Arizona LLC formation service recommendations because I have spent more time and resources in this industry than just about anybody I know.

My journey started when I decided to establish my first LLC. I didn’t know how to file my formation documents, so I hired an LLC formation service. Regrettably, the company I chose offered substandard services that were overpriced and underwhelming (I won’t mention it by name because it was a long time ago and its services have greatly improved since then).

During my second business attempt, I chose the services of Northwest Registered Agent, due to the great value for money it offered with its Formation package. This time around, the setup process was more streamlined and hassle free.

For my third attempt, I had enough start-up capital that I could afford the services of a premium, professional LLC formation service. Harbor Compliance was my company of choice and the personal support representative it provided was very supportive during the setup process.

My experience is not limited to just using these services. I also have considerable experience in helping people choose the right LLC formation service to establish their new business entities. In fact, since I launched BoostSuite, I have helped more than 1,000 people choose the right LLC formation provider for their businesses.

How I Selected the Best LLC Service

I used a four-stage process to determine the best LLC formation service in Arizona.

Stage 1: Reviews

The initial stage in the process was to read through the online reviews on the major business review websites, such as Google Business, TrustPilot, Facebook, and the Better Business Bureau. Most companies encourage their customers to leave comments on these websites so they can judge how their services are received.

This process allowed me to separate the quality LLC formation services from those that offered substandard LLC formation services.

Stage 2: Website Analysis

After weeding out the underperformers, I logged on to the websites of the remaining LLC services and read through the claims and statements they made.

This allowed me to understand the types of services that these companies offered and how they positioned themselves in the market.

Stage 3: Speaking With Actual Customers

The third stage involved speaking with actual customers so I could understand if these companies lived up to their claims. This was something I would have deduced while going through the online reviews, but reviews generally tend to be skewed towards positive or negative extremes.

I contacted people I had referred before, reached out to friends who’ve used an LLC formation service, and spoke with visitors to my website so that I could understand their experiences dealing with these companies.

This allowed me to understand the quality of services that were offered by each Arizona LLC formation service.

Stage 4: Speaking With Sales Teams

The fourth and final stage involved calling the customer support departments of each Arizona LLC formation provider and pushing them for answers to the criticism that disgruntled customers meted out to them.

This final stage allowed me to understand how well the customer support personnel dealt with negative feedback.

Rating Factors

Using my four-stage analysis, I ranked each Arizona LLC formation provider using the five factors below.

Factor 1: Offerings

The first factor I considered was the variety of services that each company offered.

Some companies only assist your business entity with filing the initial articles of organization and then subsequently charge for every additional service. Other companies, like Northwest Registered Agent, offer a consultation with in-house accountants, an online document storage portal, a business bank account set up, and assistance with your operating agreement, all in one affordable package.

The best ones also throw in a free year of statutory agent services to give you a physical business address for sending mail and service of process, as well as issuing compliance alerts so you don’t forget to file your annual reports. If you need Arizona registered agent services, you want an LLC service that offers good ones.

Your LLC’s statutory agent service is important. It’s essential that your business remains in good standing with the Arizona Secretary of State and the property service menu from your LLC formation service can ensure this. The major disparity in services offered meant this was the first factor I had to consider.

Factor 2: Price

The second factor I considered was the cost of services. Some services charge as low as $39 for a full suite of services while others charge over $399 for measly formation packages.

When you couple price with the wide gap in available services, it’s obvious that the cost of those services should be considered next in my rating process.

Factor 3: Ease of Sign-Up

The third factor I used in my ranking analysis was how easy it is to sign up for service.

Some companies have simple, intuitive, and user-friendly systems that enable you to focus your time and energy on other areas of your business entity. Others, though, have old, legacy systems that look like they were designed back in the 90s during the advent of the internet.

I reviewed the sign-up process of each Arizona LLC formation provider to establish which required less time and effort.

Factor 4: Ease of Use

Dodgy system issues are not just relegated to the sign-up process. Some of them trickle down to the onboarding process.

Some services offer blank forms that require you to fill in multiple spaces even though they already have all the requisite information. Some services, on the other hand, offer pre-filled forms and most of the time, all you need is a signature.

Starting a new business is a complicated process, and no one wants to waste time in a clumsy system, so I assessed each service on how simple it was to navigate through their networks and procedures.

Factor 5: Customer Service

The final factor I used in my rating process was the quality of the customer support.

Some companies outsource their customer support services to call centers in foreign countries where they are staffed by people who do not understand the business setup process in the US.

Others, like Northwest Registered Agent, are staffed by former accountants, lawyers, small businesses owners, and entrepreneurs with a wealth of experience on how to run an LLC. They know the exact challenges you are facing and are best equipped to assist you whenever you come across obstacles in your business journey.

This disparity in the quality of customer support was the last factor I considered in my process.

In Conclusion

Northwest Registered Agent’s $39 Formation package offers all the services you need to establish your LLC in Arizona while providing the best value for money compared with all the other services on this list.

This package includes comprehensive services for your LLC in Arizona, and Northwest’s Corporate Guides know how a business operates. They’ll provide support during your Arizona LLC formation process and offer credible business advice during your business journey. You’ll also get a free year of Arizona registered agent service.

If you’re ready to launch your business entity in the state of Arizona and you would like the advantages of an LLC formation service that provides bang-for-buck service and exemplary customer support, visit Northwest Registered Agent today and receive an 82% discount.
